Misty Lucien (Incontrera), a Texas native, is formally trained in both painting and visual arts. Her
extraordinary utilization of natural texture, juxtaposed with crisp lines, vibrant color, and the playful
use of negative space, can be seen across all of her artistic mediums—whether jewelry design,
painting, or interiors. Misty draws inspiration from the unique journey of creating, which allows all of
her mediums to speak to each other in a harmonious and cohesive story.
She is the owner and designer of B.Stellar Jewelry since 2013. Her handmade modern jewelry
thoughtfully infuses art and architectural concepts with intention and precision. Over the years, her
unique collections have been stocked at prestigious venues including the Nasher Museum, the Menil
Collection, Stanley Korshak, and Macy’s, showcasing her talent to a broader audience. Among her
most notable collectors is the renowned pop star Katy Perry. Recently, with Looksee Collective, she’s
added wallpaper to her repertoire as a natural and exciting progression for her art and her ongoing
artistic journey.
With her son now off to college and her move back to picturesque Taos, New Mexico, she has
shifted her main focus back to her deep passion for painting and travel. "Neon Mesa," Misty’s
newest art collection, speaks profoundly to her time in the southwest. The enchanting and magical
landscapes, characterized by their stunningly vibrant neon skies, are beautifully rendered as
experienced through her unique perspective and artistic vision. This acrylic on paper collection
brings the magical surroundings to life with bright colors, bold shapes, and striking lines.
